To Andrew Seaward (follow- up comments): Just to let you know that I consider your blog & raffle legitimate. Mostly, I leave remarks with "tongue in cheek." Over the last several years I have won a pair of Calvin Klein underware & a one dollar pair of work gloves. On several occasions my words were moderated so I could not recognize them! Hi Jo Ann, according to WaveCloud, international users should be able to download books so long as they have a US dollar based credit card. As a recovering alcoholic and reformed user (clean about 15yrs and sober 2.5 years) I am always looking for stories about users and success. I think just the free download may be a win in my book. Hi there, you said that the contest is international. You may want to change that, because when I tried to download your ebook I was not allowed to, because I live in Canada. I went to the FAQ and found this message: "Due to restrictions defined by most publishers, WaveCloud can only sell ebooks within the United States. Our system must have detected that you are located outside this area. In order to obtain an ebook from WaveCloud, you must enter a valid payment method that includes a billing address from this location. We plan to expand to other markets as soon as possible and apprecicate your patience in the mean time."

You may want to indicate above the entry form for the contest, that only US citizens can enter. It is too bad, but we Canadians find this all the time on contest sites, usually after joining sites, tweeting, fbing, pinning, etc, that we are not eligible. It really helps save time and avert frustration to know this up front. (I know you were not aware of this contest not being open to us). Thanks and I hope your book sells well. It looks really good. I am almost at 5 years sober, myself.

Thanks for the clarification. It seems you won't be able to download the free book directly from WaveCloud, if you live outside the US. However, this doesn't preclude you from entering the raffle for the Google Nexus 7. Since I'm running the raffle myself, I intend to ship the Tablet to the winner no matter where they live. Go ahead and still enter for all the options above, even the 10 point free book download. Then, if you send me an email (aaseaward@gmail.com) I will personally send you an epub version of my book. This way you get the free book and have equal opportunity to win the Nexus.

Congrats on the 5 years. I'm one month shy of hitting the big 5 year mark myself!

I am not sure what that would be...does Visa or MC count or is it just American express? I don't want to add a credit card to any site before I make a purchase there, anyway.

Andrew, thank you for the opportunity for not only the giveaway for the Nexus 7 Tablet.. which btw if i won would be my new best friend.. summers coming and theres nothing better than taking a good book or 12 with you everywhere you go!!, but also ty for the free down load of your book. I haven't read it just yet but i am certain that this book will touch very close to home.. after my son was killed by his step father, i lost touch with a lot of reality.. i know this path.. i know the pain and i also recognize wholeheartedly the lingo you use from the rooms. It's hard to find anyone who's been there take an honest 4th step and put the pen to the paper and lay the not sugar coated reality out there for others to see. Most whi=o have never been on that journey could ever fathom the insanity and pain.. and still some never make it back intact. I may have a hard time going back into the bowels of hell, should you book paint the true colors of purgatory.. but as selfish as it may sound because this world is one we wouldnt even wish on our worst enemies.. it is comforting to find a like mind to remind me it was real.. it is true.. and i was never alone there. Have a great day!! Fingers crossed on the Nexus tablet for me!!
